Was Mitchell Safe?

Here's another card that would be in my Top 20 Cards of All-time...so that would make the first two cards I've singled out to be from the same set...[the other is the Gorman Thomas card from '87 Topps]. It was the first set I ever collected and so I'm sure there are psychological issues going on here that I'm not fully aware of.

The question is though, was Mitchell safe at home?

Here are two more I enjoy:

I'm going to guess that he did score. And I'm also going to guess that the play took place in the bottom of the fourth on June 25, 1986 against the Expos (since that's Mike Fitzgerald catching).

Facing Andy McGaffigan, Mitchell doubled to driving in Darryl Strawberry. The next batter was Ray Knight who hit a ground ball through into the left field. Mitchell scored, and Knight took second on the throw to the plate.

This is sort of like answering what happened to Amelia Earhart? or what is in the briefcase in Pulp Fiction?
